MORE GERMANS, MORE BRITS Additional Advisors Arrive in I.S.A. and Ontario Although both sides are trying hard to keep the exact numbers secret, the last month has seen a dramatic increase in the number of foreign advisors present in both the I.S.A. and their northern neighbor, Ontario. Tensions have been high ever since an incident in which I.S.A. fighters shot down a flight of British bombers that accidentally violated I.S.A. airspace over Lake Superior. Citing the incident as an example of British aggression, the I.S.A. has stepped up negotiations with the government of Germany. In addition to the arrival of a large number of new German military advisors, Air Action Weekly has discovered that civilian merchant zeppelins have been used to discreetly ferry supplies and German aircraft into the Industrial States. Right now an unknown, but significant, number of German planes are in place at I.S.A. airfields along Lake Superior. At the same time, British shipments to Ontario have increased dramatically as well, though these have been openly acknowledged by the Brits and the government of Ontario. In addition to flights of Balmoral bombers, British fighter planes have also been deployed at bases along the north shore of the lake, along with R.A.F. pilots and military advisors. I.S.A. President Franklin August said in a recent speech, "The presence of British bomber aircraft in Ontario is a direct threat against the citizens of the Industrial States, and it is a threat we shall meet with all due force if necessary. I demand that the government of Ontario immediately remove all British bomber forces from their territory. The I.S.A. will not be bullied by the British Empire."
