Wanted: "Marshal" Bill Redmann Air Action Weekly EditorialIn the continuing investigation of the disappearance of AAW Editor in Chief Nero MacLeon, Blake Aviation Security has uncovered strong evidence pointing to the Redmann Gang. This information has not come cheaply, and I'm not referring to any fee charged by B.A.S.; two agents of Blake Aviation have also vanished while following up leads in Free Colorado. It was the final reports of those brave men that cast our eye upon Redmann and his murderous band. In the Air Action Weekly Winter 1936 Special, Nero MacLeon wrote a scathing account of the life and times of "Marshal" Bill Redmann, every word of it the truth. I remember, because he remarked to me more than once how sad the whole story was, what a shame that a man with so much potential and so many advantages, should turn out to be the man that Bill Redmann is today. What had gone wrong? I daresay he felt pity for the most reviled air pirate in North America. I am writing today to say something I have never said in print before: I disagree with Nero MacLeon. Bill Redmann deserves no pity from us or anyone. We at AAW are prepared to do whatever it takes to find Nero MacLeon, and that includes taking on a butcher like Redmann. Effective right away, we have raised the reward for the safe return of Nero MacLeon from $10,000 to $15,000, with an extra $5,000 bonus for the capture of Redmann himself, in any condition at all. No matter who is responsible, no matter where they have hidden, we will never cease our efforts to rescue Nero MacLeon, or avenge him. Never. Elizabeth M. MacLeon
